Creek Bend Farm Exterior Wayfinding Signage

Creek Bend Farm is located in Lindsey, Ohio and is a part of the Sandusky County Park District. As an in-house designer at The Collaborative Inc, I worked with architects and the park staff to design wayfinding signage that would stand out for the visitor yet go along with the natural surroundings of the site. The signs are made of a rusted steel product that will last a lifetime and are reminiscent of farm equipment that often can be found setting on the property of local farms.

B2B Trail Signage

The Border to Border Trail (B2B Trail) is located in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Partnering with The Collaborative Inc, I worked with landscape architects, architects and the park staff to design a signage that could be used for the Trail. Below are some of the items and direction that this team conceptualized.

Creek Bend Farm Interior Room Signage

Creek Bend Farm is located in Lindsey, Ohio and is a part of the Sandusky County Park District. As an in-house designer at The Collaborative Inc, I worked with architects and the park staff to design interior room signage as well as vinyl decals for the nature center. The signs are made of a rusted steel product that reflect the wayfinding signs on the exterior of the property along with ash lumber that came from the property after many Ash trees were lost. As you can see in the pictures, this repurposed ash wood was also used as a finish within the interior of the Nature Center. Subtle Vinyl lettering was also used inside to highlight donors.

City of Maumee Entry Signage

Design by m.e.p. worked along with JDI Group to create entry sign designs for the City of Maumee. EDGE Group contributed landscape design to anchor the design and seemlessly incorporate them into each location. From the design of these signs came the City’s new logo and brand.

Perrysburg Intermediate School Informational Signage

These informational signs were recently installed at Hull Prairie Intermediate School in Perrysburg, Ohio. I worked along with The Collaborative and Perrysburg Schools staff to create 3 separate sign designs to be placed in 11 locations around campus to inform the community and students of the measures taken on the landscape of the campus to be envirnomentally friendly. The signs are made from Custom High Pressure Laminate and the colors coincide with the pallette used within the school. These informational signs talk about native plants and insects, bioswales for rain water filtration and a solar pavilion that was installed near the school. Smaller plant labels were produced as well using the same material, with a similar design, and will be installed soon.
